Our company's mail system is g-mail and I'm the person in charge.
I notice something about using g-mail on business.
To sum up it,
"Using modern web browser (ex. FireFox and Google chrome) or client mail soft (ex. mozilla thunderbird) is necessary."
We use Lotus Notes mail client and Internet Explorer 8 before.
And mail system shifted from Notes to g-mail, and browser was IE8 yet.
Our user strongly objected, however, as it would "too poor operability".
They says,
*It is impossible to drag and drop.
*We can't use mail - template and print draft mail.[
etc.
So I done
1. Change official browser to Fire Fox
Our Authorization is not password but windows authorization.So I set windows authorization settings to Fire Fox as

And I change official browser from IE8 to Fire Fox.
Of cause, chrome browser is more better.
In that case, we should set HTTP authorization.

But we can not use it on our environment. So we use fire fox.
2. Install g-mail template add-on and develop "draft mail print add-on".
In order to mail template, I install "g-mail template switcher"http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/26426
And we developed "draft mail print add-on" at fire fox (non-disclosure).
As a result, our user's disaffection decrease large degree.
G-mail is of cause very excellent mail-tool. But If you are company's IT manager and your company's IT equipment is old, you have to be prepared to make consideration as above.
